Mr Chua Tiat Siong, Chief Instructor of K-Squad, has been suspended for one year from all taekwondo activities from 10 August 2010.
The Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) Management Committee, in its monthly meeting, had accepted the recommendation of the Board of Inquiry to suspend Mr Chua. The Committee agreed with the Board that Mr Chua was responsible for the Fuchun CC incident which resulted from his lack of care.
The STF would like to take this opportunity remind all coaches that they owe a duty of care to all their students and must act in their best interest at all times.
