The national squad has a year-round training programme preparing for various competitions. This year, the players have one target in mind: Win for Singapore in the SEA Games which will be held from 6 to 16 December in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
As part of the support of the Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), its Special Training Assistance Committee (STAC) headed by Dr Tan Eng Liang visited the National Training Centre on 13 March 2007 to observe the training and brief officials from the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) on the selection criteria.
